ODM5\u00ae promotes, improves visual acuity (thanks to sodium chloride) and visual comfort (thanks to hyaluronic acid). The unique combination of 5% NaCl and 0.15% hyaluronic acid has an osmotic effect and a film-forming and protective effect on the epithelium.<\/p>\n<h3>Indications<\/h3>\n<p>ODM5\u00ae is recommended to reduce post-operative and post-traumatic corneal edema, as well as those due to corneal dystrophy. Corneal edema occurs when the cornea has an abnormal accumulation of fluids. The hypersaline solution of ODM5\u00ae exploits the osmotic effect to attract excess fluids out of the cornea, so that the cornea can temporarily find again an optimal state of hydration. ODM5\u00ae contributes to the improvement of visual quality.<\/p>\n<h3>How to use it<\/h3>\n<p>Instill 1-2 drops 4 times a day, according to medical advice. Instill the drops in the lower conjunctival sac of the eye, looking upwards and pulling the lower eyelid slightly downwards.
