Retizin®

Food supplement based on Plant extracts, Vitamins and Minerals.

RETIZIN® is a food supplement made of Turmeric (Cureit®), homotaurine, lutein (from FloraGLO®), vitamins and minerals recommended in case of reduced supply with the diet or increased needs. An unvaried and unbalanced diet, together with unhealthy lifestyle choices or increased personal needs, can result in an inadequate intake of components or a non-physiological level of substances that contribute to the protection of cells against oxidative stress.

Curcuma-Cureit®
Curcuma Longa extract, thanks to its antioxidant capacity, contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative stress. Cureit® is a formulation of Curcuma Longa extract which, in the studies carried out, has shown a significantly higher absorption than standard turmeric formulations.

Homotaurine
Homotaurine is a synthetic amino acid derivative, existing in nature in particular species of algae.

Lutein and Zeaxanthin
They are molecules called carotenoids, that accumulate in the central part of the retina, the macula lutea.The extract of Tagetes erecta, titrated in lutein, contributes to eyesight well-being.

Folic Acid
Folic acid is a water-soluble B group vitamin, useful for normal homocysteine metabolism; it also intervenes in the processes of cell division and contributes to normal psychological function.

Vitamin C and Vitamin E
Vitamins C and E protect the cells against oxidative stress.

Vitamin D3
Vitamin D3 intervenes in the process of cell division.

Copper-Zinc
Copper and zinc are minerals which contribute to the protection of cells against oxidative damage; moreover, copper is useful for the physiological metabolism of energy and zinc contributes to maintain normal vision.
