FOOD SUPPLEMENT with Cognizin®- Citicoline, Homotaurine, PQQ and Nicotinamide

The Citicoline (Cognizin®) contained in NEUPROZIN® MITO, also known as CDP-Choline, is a molecule normally present in the body and a precursor in the endogenous synthesis of phospholipids involved in nerve cell membrane formation and repair processes. Furthermore, it forms the necessary substrate for the synthesis of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter that is essential for the propagation of nervous and visual impulses and has a facilitating effect on brain energy metabolism.

Homotaurine is an amino acid derivative extracted from certain species of marine algae. It is structurally similar to GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), an important neurotransmitter involved in the propagation of nerve impulses.

Pyrroloquinoline Quinone (MGCPQQ®) is a substance physiologically contained in the mitochondria, near the site where free radicals form. Therefore, it can intervene in various mechanisms related to oxidative stress, which is caused by increased intraocular pressure among other things.

Nicotinamide is a water-soluble vitamin necessary for the synthesis of coenzymes essential for normal redox reactions, such as nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) and nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate (NADP). Nicotinamide contributes to the nervous system’s normal functioning and energy-yielding metabolism.

Usage

1 tablet per day, to be swallowed with a sip of water.
