What is OZOLID® and what is it for
OZOLID® ophthalmic gauzes is a Medical Device for effective mechanical removal of secretions, whether lipidic or dried, cellular residues and other contaminants from eyelids and eyelashes which are released in inflammatory conditions such as blepharitis, blepharoconjunctivitis, styes, chalazia or in cases of periocular trauma.
Additionally, thanks to the ozonated oil and liposomes, OZOLID® promotes the breakdown of the biofilm, a natural defence mechanism for bacteria which can form along the eyelid margins. The accumulation of biofilm can cause and worsen inflammatory and infectious processes affecting the eyelids. Therefore, removing the biofilm helps to reduce inflammatory symptoms caused by the action of the bacteria themselves. Removing secretions and bacterial biofilm from eyelids and eyelashes is also helpful before and after ocular surgery, as it prevents and reduces the risk of postoperative infections caused by the proliferation of microorganisms.
Indications
OZOLID® is indicated:
- for blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis, infectious or allergic, styes and chalazia, to remove secretions from the eyelids and eyelashes, thus providing relief from symptoms;
- before and after ophthalmological surgery to reduce infections caused by bacteria present on the eyelids and eyelashes.
Because of the high tolerability of its components, OZOLID® can be used daily to protect the periocular area.

OZODROP® IVT is a protective, lubricating, moisturising and soothing ophthalmic solution for the ocular surface, based on LipozonEye (ozonated vegetable oil, soy phospholipids) and hypromellose useful for:
- protection before and after eye surgery
- the treatment of symptoms related to inflammation, also of infectious origin;
- promoting reparative processes after surgical or traumatic stress;
- the treatment of dry eye, including irritation caused by environmental conditions or mechanical stress, such as wearing contact lenses.
Thanks to its ozonated oil and liposome content, OZODROP® IVT reduces the ability of bacteria to form a biofilm and promotes their breakdown. The biofilm is a natural defence mechanism that bacteria put in place, which can form on the ocular surface, especially in the case of abrasions and trauma, or on contact lenses. Indications
OZODROP® IVT is indicated as a support:

Due to its components, OZODROP® Gel-K forms a persistent and homogenous film on the corneal surface, which provides longer-lasting protection than ophthalmic solutions.

The biofilm is a natural defence mechanism that bacteria put in place, which can form on the ocular surface, especially in the case of abrasions and trauma, or on contact lenses. - as an adjuvant to antibiotic therapy, in both adults and children.
In addition, due to the protective, lubricating and moisturising action of its components, OZODROP® Gel-K is useful for the treatment of dry eye, including irritation caused by environmental conditions or mechanical stress, such as using contact lenses.
Directions for use
Instil one or two drops 3-4 times a day or as advised by your doctor.
The product can be used while wearing contact lenses.
Composition
LipozonEye (self-preserved ozonated vegetable oil, soy phospholipids), hydroxyethylcellulose, boric acid, sodium tetraborate, sodium edetate bisodic, PHMB, kolliphor P407 and purified water.
Warnings
- Wash your hands thoroughly before using the product.
- Do not use the product in case of allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the components of the products.
- Make sure that the tip of the bottle does not come into contact with the eye.
- Close the bottle tightly after each use.
- Do not use the product after 30 days from opening.
- The product just instilled may produce a slight and temporary clouding of the sight, wait for the symptom to disappear before starting activities that require full visual ability.
- Administer the product at least 5 minutes before or after the administration of other products for topical ophthalmic use.
- Store the product at a temperature between 5 and 25°C.
- Should any adverse reaction occur, discontinue use and consult a specialist.
- Do not ingest.
- Keep away from heat sources.
- Keep out of the reach of children.
- Do not use the product after the expiry date.
- Do not use the product if the packaging does not appear intact.
- Sterile until first opening.

Hyperosmolar ophthalmic solution based on 5% sodium chloride (NaCl) and 0.15% hyaluronic acid, in multi-dose OSD bottle - preservatives free.
ODM5® is the first hyperosmolar and protective eye drops of the ocular surface, indicated in case of corneal edema. ODM5® promotes, improves visual acuity (thanks to sodium chloride) and visual comfort (thanks to hyaluronic acid). The unique combination of 5% NaCl and 0.15% hyaluronic acid has an osmotic effect and a film-forming and protective effect on the epithelium.
Indications
ODM5® is recommended to reduce post-operative and post-traumatic corneal edema, as well as those due to corneal dystrophy. Corneal edema occurs when the cornea has an abnormal accumulation of fluids. The hypersaline solution of ODM5® exploits the osmotic effect to attract excess fluids out of the cornea, so that the cornea can temporarily find again an optimal state of hydration. ODM5® contributes to the improvement of visual quality.
How to use it
Instill 1-2 drops 4 times a day, according to medical advice. Instill the drops in the lower conjunctival sac of the eye, looking upwards and pulling the lower eyelid slightly downwards. After instillation, keep the eye closed for 1-2 minutes.

LUMIXA® is a preservative-free antioxidant, lubricant and photoprotective ophthalmic solution based on cross-linked hyaluronic acid sodium salt, liposomes and crocin.
Cross-linked sodium hyaluronate is a reticulated form of sodium hyaluronate produced to obtain more viscoelasticity and stablity from the molecule. Cross-linked sodium hyaluronate ensures better hydration and longer permanence on the ocular surface.
Thanks to the synergy between cross-linked sodium hyaluronate and liposomes, LUMIXA® ensures greater stability of the tear film and it is suitable for all types of ocular dryness caused by lacrimal hyposecretion (insufficient production of tear film) or evaporative dry eye (excessive evaporation of the tear film).
Crocin is a carotenoid that interacts with light radiation at wavelengths between 380 and 500 nm; this photoprotective properly, and its antioxidant capacity, makes LUMIXA® effective even in dry eyes caused by prolonged use of electronic devices (computers, mobile phones, tablets). In fact, the blue light emitted by these devices represents a portion of the visible light spectrum between 380 and 500 nm that can cause oxidative damage on the ocular surface, which manifests itself with dry eye and inflammation.
LUMIXA® helps protect the ocular surface and ocular tissues:
- from free radicals produced in case of dry eyes;
- from the consequences of high exposure to devices that emit radiation that cause visual stress (e.g. blue light from prolonged use of computers, smartphones, tablets), unfavorable lighting conditions;

Protective ophthalmic solution of the ocular surface
The tear film, in addition to lubrication, helps to modulate the inflammatory response of the ocular surface, favouring repair processes and maintaining or restoring structural integrity. It also plays a crucial role in the natural antimicrobial defences of the eye, constituting a physiological protective barrier against environmental bacteria and counteracting the potential development of both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria.
An optimal condition of the ocular surface therefore favours a correct inflammatory response and innate and adaptive immunity, as well as contribute to the protection of the ocular surface against pathogenic bacteria.
Immunodrop is a medical device useful to protect and stabilise the ocular surface, particularly indicated in case of symptoms derived from alteration of the tear film, such as red eye, eye irritated by external agents or dry eye.
The clinical benefits of Immunodrop are due to the fact that the individual components, through a tear film reconstruction process and increased adhesion of the positive bacteria naturally present on the ocular surface, stabilise the tear film and restore the natural protective barrier against external microbial agents, pollutants and environmental substances.

BlefOX is a delicate foam specific for the topical treatment of eyelids and eyelashes that allows effective mechanical removal of both lipid and dried eyelid secretions, cellular residues (e.g. bacteria and demodex) and other contaminants, which are released during inflammatory states such as blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis and that may worsen the inflammation. These secretions are also associated with bacterial growth along the eyelid margins and at the base of the eyelashes, promoted by the production of an adhesive biofilm. The inflammation that follows can also affect the glands that produce the lipid component of the tear film, the Meibomian glands, with consequent dry eyes due to the greater evaporation of tears.
BlefOX can also be useful for cleansing eyelids and eyelashes before and after eye surgery.
BlefOX contains LipozonEye (liposomal ozonated oil), freeze-dried Aloe vera gel, Eugenia caryophyllus essential oil which help to clean, moisturise and refresh the eyelids, and to soothe irritative symptoms due to inflammatory processes.
Thanks to its peculiar composition, BlefOX:
- is useful to prevent and/or improve the symptoms of eye diseases such as blepharitis, blepharoconjunctivitis, also allowing better lubrication of the ocular surface. The liposomal ozonated oil promotes the breakdown of bacterial biofilm on eyelids and eyelashes and reduces the ability of bacteria to form new biofilm;;
- helps to counteract bacterial proliferation on the eyelids and to unblock the excretory ducts of the sebaceous glands of the eyelids in case of stye or chalazion;
- can help reduce the risk of infections due to bacteria present on the eyelids and eyelashes, before and after ophthalmological surgery, and during blepharitis.
BlefOX can be used by both adults and children. The foam does not contain perfumes and can be easily applied on the eyelids and eyelashes.

Lacricomplex
Multimolecular lubricant and protective ophthalmic solution
Lacricomplex® is a lubricating, protective, moisturising, soothing and antioxidant ophthalmic solution, containing GlicoPro®, a multimolecular complex based on proteins, sulfur and non-sulfur glycosaminoglycans contained in a mucin base consisting of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC). Glycosaminoglycans, in particular, constitute an important part of the glycocalyx of the cell surface and can represent ligands for many molecules like growth factors, cytokines, chemokines, which regulate the inflammatory response.
Lacricomplex®, therefore, contains a triple mucin component together with a mucoprotein and a protein component, with a lubricating, moisturising, antioxidant and protective action that is useful in the treatment of dry eyes, also as an adjuvant in the presence of irritation and inflammation caused by environmental conditions or mechanical stress.
Lacricomplex®, also promotes the physiological corneal reparative processes and supports the restoration of the functionality of the corneal nerve endings, which decreases in case of dry eye syndrome.
The ophthalmic solution is contained in a technological bottle which avoids the use of preservatives and allows an easy dispensing of the full volume of the liquid.
Indications
Lacricomplex®,hanks to the lubricating, protective, moisturising, soothing and antioxidant action of its components, allows to treat the symptoms of dry eyes, also as an adjuvant in the presence of irritation and inflammation caused by environmental conditions or mechanical stress.
In addition, Lacricomplex® is useful in promoting physiological corneal repair processes and supports the restoration of corneal nerve endings, altered during eye dryness.
